The Sacred Spaces in Our Lives

Is the beginning of a new week.

This week let every conversation be sacred. Let every person you meet be a sacred moment played out within the space of eternity. Let every cup of coffee or tea you drink be sacred. Let every thought you have good, bad, or insignificant be sacred. Let every smile or tear you shed be sacred. Let every situation you face and come into whether good, bad, or insignificant be sacred.

Let every moment you play, exercise, or just rest be sacred. Let every minute you read, listen to the radio, or watch TV be sacred. Let every passing moment behind the wheel of your car, bicycle, or motor cycle be sacred. Let the time you spend on a train, bus, or just on your feet going to and from work be sacred. Let every moment you spend intimately with your mate be sacred. Let your time with your loved ones be sacred. Let the time you invest in your kids and the time you play and hang out with them be sacred too.

Finally make a point this week of being intentional about seeing everything you do, say, and live whether mentioned above or not as a sacred moment. Consider letting all these moments make up your spiritual path. And as you do this, you will begin to notice that Dad is involved in so much more than just the big religious meeting so many of us attend on Sundays as we think thats the only place he wants to show up and remain for the rest of the week.

Have a sacred and present week!
