Religions wine was always meant to run out. This is why Jesus showed us at the wedding in Cana that he was here to offer us new wine. At this celebration he showed us, by the way he filled the pots of clay, that his message was about inner transformation and not outside cleansing. He showed us that what happened in those pots was inside and not outside of them.
I believe today more than ever that God wants everyone of us to see and experience this same inner transformation. So much that he has made sure we all come equipped with an inner wineskin capable of holding this new wine.
It is called our heart.
