Inner Bleeding

In professional sports when an athlete contracts an injury, if the physiotherapist is very good, they will never automatically treat the area that hurts as this is seldom the real problem.

Often what the practitioner will do is check what is known as the silent areas in the body. These are areas that though not located in the same place as the pain are nevertheless related to the area in question and often resposible for the pain that is showing up there.

Likewise in our lives often the reactions and suffering we experience on the surface are not the real problem but just the place where the pain is showing up. Let us therefore take some time today to consider that what might be going on within us in those unseen places that though they are silent in themselves are often the ones resposible for all the unhealthy noise that accompanies so many of our daily lives.
