The Best is Caught not Taught

A while back I found myself speaking at a big Church in the USA. Before the meeting I met up with a friend I had not seen for a while but knew me very well as we had spent much time together in the past. At the end of my time sharing some of my books were offered at the back of the Church for sale. My friend ventured back there and glanced at a copy as he had not had a chance to read one yet due to some difficult personal circumstances he had been experiencing in his own life.

Meanwhile a gentleman whom had read the book approached him as he glanced through it and asked him if he had read it to which he replied no. They spoke for a while and towards the end of the conversation the gentleman asked him “Are you sure you haven’t read the book Pablo wrote?” My friend said “yes he was sure and asked why are you asking me that?” The gentleman said “well you have just pretty much told me the whole book so I was wondering how you managed to do this if you haven’t read it”

My friend smiled and said “Because I know Pablo personally and have spent much time with him…”

As you begin this last week of 2015 make sure you take some time to experience Him as much if not more than you read about Him…
