Where Life Hangs Out!

If you are like me today you are going to potentially feel many different things. Circumstances might not be what you thought and people might not behave or come through as they were supposed to. Someone might say something the wrong way and you know you might too.

The weather might be oppressive and the traffic worst than normal. The car might not do what is supposed to and you know as usual other drivers will drive as if they are the only ones out there. The clothes you were hoping to wear might have an unexpected stain and the perfume you wear might have ran out suddenly and you didn’t notice.

There might be an unexpected bill or worst yet a charge on your credit card that you didn’t make or forgot to cancel…the computer might have a hiccup or two and that part of your body that hasn’t hurt for a while might be in pain again today. The coffee might be cold and the food might taste like cardboard.

You might be sitting down to do a job you hate and the break you were hoping for is not happened again because of some unforeseen circumstance that always seems to pop up when you are about to get that breakthrough you are convinced you need…

Yet again it might be the best day you have ever had in your life and the moments, surprises, and experiences you might have will be so far superior than anything you have ever experienced before that you will be thinking that this can’t be real and won’t last forever… No matter on what side of these you are in today you will experience either the urge to resign yourself or the addiction to keep things going in order to feel the illusion of control.

I am learning that the hardest place to remain in is neither of these. That one is reserved for the one where you are able to remain present and observant from that place within you that can’t be affected nor fooled by either of these extremes, as it knows that no matter which one takes place today, within your true identity, you will still be as intact and whole as the day you were born.

May it be from this beautifully balanced place that you experience life today and the rest of your days…no matter what is happening outside of you!

Have a beautiful and balanced week!
